Miloš Bošnjaković, the CEO of Lykos Balkan Metals, attended the "Regional Business Executive Retreat 2022" conference on Jahorina last week.
The conference, organized by the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) in BiH and the Foreign Investment Promotion Agency in BiH, focused on regional collaboration and dialogue as key drivers of development, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH.
This business event provided an opportunity for Lykos to engage in discussions and exchange experiences with representatives from the private and public sectors of the Western Balkans. Of particular importance was the topic related to the implementation of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards within the business community, advocating for their adoption among domestic companies, as well as sharing experiences on integrating ESG into investment decisions and initiating dialogue with relevant institutions regarding the challenges and possibilities of incorporating these principles into national legislation.
The head of Lykos Balkan Metals is a member of the FIC Board, the most significant independent and non-profit business association that has been operating since 2006 as the unified voice of investors present in BiH. The association brings together 70 foreign and domestic companies that have invested over 9 billion BAM in BiH to date, employing more than 20,000 people.
