As part of the operations of Lykos Balkan Metals, the highly anticipated "Career Day" was held on Saturday, September 3rd.
Starting in the early morning hours, employees from all sectors of the company were ready and eager to engage in warm communication with visitors and introduce them to the company's operations.
Visitors had the opportunity to submit their resumes, engage in conversations with sector representatives, and receive answers to all relevant questions.
The 1st Career Day was inaugurated with a ceremonial speech by the CEO, Miloš Bošnjaković, who extended a warm welcome to all visitors and students from the Mining Faculty in Prijedor.
"In recent decades, we have observed a noticeable trend of young people leaving this country, as well as a limited number of opportunities for older individuals to build a career in their homeland. In this regard, support from public institutions coming from the private sector is highly significant. I would like to express my gratitude to our partners from the Mining-Geological-Civil Engineering Faculty in Tuzla, the Mining Faculty in Prijedor, and the Public Institution Employment Bureau Branch in Bijeljina. The first Career Day is important for all of us present here today because through such events, we convey an image of a secure future to all those who desire it in their home country."

After the ceremonial opening of the 1st Career Day, Mr. Siniša Kajmaković, the Head of the Employment Bureau Branch in Bijeljina, addressed all attendees and expressed full support for our company's operations.
"I would like to thank the gentlemen from Lykos Balkan Metals for their support. I count on their assistance in introducing employment models that are present in Australia. There is a shortage of professionals in the fields of the real sector, science, and engineering, so study, work, and get employed in companies like this one. This country is fortunate to have such potential."
Siniša Kajmaković, Director of the Employment Bureau Branch.
This was followed by a presentation by the Chief Geologist, Mladen Stevanović, on the topic of geological research conducted as part of research projects.
"We express our gratitude to all visitors, Mr. Kajmaković, and the students from the Mining Faculty for their attendance, contribution to the event, and their openness to asking questions about our company," emphasized Stevanović.
Career Day is planned as an annual event, with an increasing number of visitors expected in the years to come.
