The Assumption of the Virgin Mary, the patron saint of Čajniče Municipality and the Church of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God in Čajniče, was celebrated on Sunday, August 28th, with a liturgy and a solemn procession.

A large number of residents of Čajniče and guests filled the town beneath Cicelj Mountain and marked the day of their place's patron saint in a dignified manner.

It was also an opportunity for the clergy of the Čajniče church to present an acknowledgment to representatives of Braha Resources, a subsidiary of Lykos Balkan Metals, for their selfless assistance in renovating the church roof.

Mladen Stevanović, Chief Geologist, accepted the acknowledgment on behalf of Braha Resources. We are proud to have the opportunity to help when it is most needed because maintaining a good relationship with the local community is a priority for us.
