In anticipation of the Good Friday and the Orthodox Easter, representatives of our company visited socially vulnerable families in the municipality of Petrovo to donate food packages and financial aid.
As we did in previous years, this year we continue the tradition of helping socially vulnerable families, especially on the eve of important holidays. Lykos representatives, during regular field visits to Petrovo, established contact with these households and recognized their need for basic life necessities.
"We try to talk to the population during regular visits to the project locations and assess their needs. In this case, it was not difficult, because the families of the elderly are often in need of necessities such as food and finance," said Mladen Lujić, company director.
Lujić also emphasized that Lykos Balkan Metals, despite the current reduced activity on the project in this municipality, is determined to maintain continuity of cooperation with local communities. Lykos Balkan Metals has implemented numerous humanitarian actions in Petrovo in the past, including support to local sports clubs, in addition to regular distribution of packages with basic life necessities.
