Yesterday in Banja Luka, the “Banja Luka Energy Forum – Let’s Save Energy” was successfully concluded, organized by the Employers’ Union of the Republic of Srpska, with the support of the Ministry of Economy and Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Srpska.

“Banjaluka Energy Forum – Let’s save energy” aimed to provide domestic companies with the latest information on the possibilities of energy saving, and present them with the latest technical solutions in the field of renewable energy sources. During the Forum, successfully implemented projects of companies aimed at saving energy were presented, as well as various possibilities of financing the improvement of energy efficiency in the work of companies.

The event was conceived as an open-air fair, enriched with introductory presentations and panel discussions, both on the position of the business community in relation to electricity pricing policies, and on energy efficiency in general. The forum gathered a large number of participants, including regional leaders in the field of energy efficiency, but also potential users – companies, then representatives of the Government of the Republic of Srpska, the banking sector and international organizations. Exhibitors from Republic of Srpska, Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Slovenia presented their products and services both during presentations organized at the event, as well as at their stands.

Our company, as one of the sponsors of this event and at the same time one of the participants, presented itself through a thematic overview entitled “Natural potentials – the role of mineral resources in finding energy-efficient solutions”, which was presented by the executive director Mr. Mladen Lujić. Presentation covered two very important and interesting topics: “Geological research of precious metals in BiH” and “ESG and geological research”.

This Forum provided not only new knowledge, but also created very important contacts in the field of energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, thus contributing to the improvement of the energy sector in the Republic of Srpska and beyond.
