The survey conducted by our employees in the period from February 13 to 15, 2023, among the residents of the Jezero municipality, showed that the majority of residents support geological exploration. The aim of the survey was to assess the opinion of the population on the economic development of the municipality, the new investments and the continuation of geological exploration.
Our expert staff, consisting of geologists and geological technicians, visited 222 households and interviewed 371 inhabitants. We were open to talk with everyone, including those who are explicitly against geological exploration. According to the results of the survey, a total of 331 residents of Jezero expressed their support for the continuation of geological exploration, while 32 residents were against it, and 8 were neutral. This means that 89.2% of the respondents declared YES and thus unequivocally supported the continuation of geological exploration.
The questions asked by the residents of Jezero strengthened our belief to remain open to any possible cooperation and that, with the application of the highest standards of environmental protection, social responsibility and good management, we advance the further development of this extremely underdeveloped municipality and improve the quality of life of its residents through the continuation of our activities.
The scientific and professional public, as well as the findings of the inspection supervision, have already confirmed on several occasions that the detailed geological research that we conduct does not have a negative impact on the environment. Our goal is to make these facts available to as many residents of Jezero as possible, as well as the entire Republic of Srpska.
