Lykos Balkan Metals takes great pleasure in supporting projects that leave a lasting impact, bring joy, and enhance local communities. That is why we were among the first to express our desire to contribute to the reconstruction of the children's playground in Čajniče, aiming to provide the children of Čajniče with a place for fun, socializing, and the development of motor skills that are important for every child.

The renovation of the playground was funded by Lykos Balkan Metals from Bijeljina, and approximately 11,000 BAM was invested.

We began the work by removing all existing elements such as swings, seesaws, and slides from the playground and preparing the surface for concrete. After the concrete was laid, the entire 72-square-meter area was covered with rubber flooring, and the old worn-out fence was replaced with a new one. The playground has thus become a safer place for children to play and spend time.čeli tako što smo sve postojeće elemente ljulje, klackalice, tobogan izvadili sa igrališta i pripremili podlogu za betoniranje. Posle betoniranja je cijela povrsinu od 72 metra kvadratna prekrivena gumenom pločom, a postojeća dotrajala ograda zamjenjena novom. Igralište je time postalo sigurnije mjesto za igru i boravak najmlađih.

In addition to ensuring the safety of children, our company made efforts to beautify the appearance of the playground by adorning the adjacent wall with a mural depicting the winning children's drawing from an art competition held in Čajniče, also organized by our company.

The grand opening began with a performance by children from the Cultural Art Society "Čajniče." Then, the mayor of Čajniče, Goran Karadžić, and Dejan Nikolić, the executive director of Lykos Balkan Metals, cut the ceremonial ribbon and officially opened the playground. The children continued to enjoy the new playground with children's songs, games, and balloons. It was a pleasure to see genuine smiles and happiness on the faces of the little ones.
