An agreement on mutual cooperation was signed today between Lykos Balkan Metals and the Faculty of Mining in Prijedor. This document aims to strengthen academic values and enhance the scientific research and educational level of students at the Faculty of Mining in Prijedor.
During today's ceremonial signing, special emphasis was placed on promoting and developing geology in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as further encouraging young individuals to enroll at the Faculty of Mining in Prijedor.
In his address to those present, Mr. Mladen Lujić, a technical and operational specialist in our company, emphasized the importance of connecting industry firms with higher education institutions that educate future geological and mining engineers, with the goal of ensuring a secure future for graduates. Expressing gratitude, the Dean of the Faculty of Mining in Prijedor, Prof. Dr. Vladimir Malbašić, wished for this collaboration to be long-term and mutually beneficial for both Lykos and the Faculty of Mining, but above all, for the satisfaction of the students studying at this institution.
Investing in younger generations and creating a safe working environment for them is one of the principles on which the social responsibility of Lykos Balkan Metals is based, and this beautiful gesture proves it in practice.
